Vending at the 2012 American Hosta Society Convention

Come and sell your hostas, companion plants, garden art, accessories, books, clothing, jewelry, or other garden related items. We are expecting hundreds of hosta lovers during the convention at the Nashville Airport Marriott in Nashville, Tennessee.  In addition to the convention attendees, the gardening public will be invited to visit the Hosta Show and Vending on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. See the Schedule for all the Vending times. All Vendors are required to complete a contract.

Vending will be in a 7500 sq. foot air conditioned area on the same level as other events. We have 126 tables that are 6' by 18" and 42 tables that are 8' by 18". They will be assigned on a first come basis at a cost of $1 per linear foot per table. If you do not need tables, you can reserve space at a cost of $1 per linear foot by 18" wide.

You will be sent a contract and upon completion, your number of tables/space will be guaranteed and the vending committee will try to accommodate your layout.

Transient Vendor’s license: All out of state vendors must apply for a Transient Vendor License good for 14 days. The cost of this license is $112. You will be responsible for obtaining this license..

In keeping with the long-standing American Hosta Society vending practice, at the conclusion of the convention, vendors will donate 15% of their gross sales to the American Hosta Society. The vendor is responsible for any and all federal, state and local and other taxes related to the sale of merchandise.
